Friends, you’re welcome to join us on June 14 at the Crucible at 6:30 PM for a benefit show, featuring Ken Lonnquist + O’Darby and DJ Saint Cat!
This announcement is about more than just a concert; it’s about the way Madison is choosing to spend Donald Trump’s birthday and the one year anniversary of the first No Kings demonstration. While Trump and his crew sit on the White House lawn next to the newly demolished East Wing, the White House’s only public entrance, we’re going to choose to open our arms to the neighbors who need it most.
In the coming eleven days, we’re going to raise the most money that No Kings has ever raised for our local organizations that are protecting our immigrant and LGBTQ+ neighbors. In an era when attacks on these two groups are coming faster than we can respond, we’re answering by making sure that organizations serving them have as much as we can give to help people where they need it.
The suggested donation is $15 - but if you’re able to give more, there are $40 and $75 ticket options to help boost the fund. In addition to the entertainment by local artists, pizza will be available to purchase.
Are you willing to chip in to this cause and be part of Madison's response to this special date? If you are, go to the link below to buy your tickets and take a stand against the regime.
Within the week, we’ll launch an ActBlue as well, where you can contribute to an even larger fund to help get us over the finish line.
